Install the game - Full Installation. Copy the CRK_KPIN.EXE Patch to the game directory. Execute the Patch to fix: KINGPIN.EXE Ensure CD audio is disabled.
Edit the file: <GameDir>\Main\Config.cfg Search for the line: set cd_nocd Ensure the setting is set to "1" (disabled) and not "0" (enabled) Quit the editor, saving change if made.

NOTE: Make a backup of the original KINGPIN.EXE file for future patching!
The US crack for Kingpin bypasses the cd protection subtests, but when
used with the UK Kingpin, it leaves one un-bypassed. Rather than forcing each of these subtests to pass, this patch for the UK version of Kingpin (v1.00) removes the single call to the whole cd protection test function, so no sub-tests even get called.
